Together the charity’s managers look after the 4,800 people who lend a ‘paw’ to the organisation.PDSA estimates that its volunteer staff save the organisation £8.5 million every year. Without PDSA managers, however, these savings and the income many of volunteers themselves generate would not be possible.PDSA Head of Volunteering, Janet Compton, said: “PDSA would like to thank all of its managers for their hard work and dedication in managing volunteers.
