One of the three COVID-positive doctors was a pediatrician. The two others were internists. They were not instructed not to report for duty until their results came out.A doctor of the provincial hospital infected two others after getting the virus from a 70-year-old patient at the Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital who misdeclared his health status.The incident forced the closure of the hospital’s out-patient department.The doctor was employed at TLJPH where he infected two of his co-workers.Diaz said a staff of the hospital who assists patients has also shown symptoms of COVID-19 like fever and loose bowel movement.Admissions at the TJLPH were temporarily suspended. Contact tracing and disinfection are ongoing.Only emergency cases are accommodated at a tent at the hospital grounds./PNlast_img
