Missing woman found in Whittier WHITTIER – A West Covina woman missing since Jan. 8 turned up in Whittier late Monday.Cindy Shannon, 41, was found by Whittier Officer Dominic Iraldo, who was responding to a call about a homeless woman at a business on Leffingwell Road.He found Shannon sleeping behind the business.”She didn’t look familiar as far as our local transients in the area,” Iraldo said Monday night. Iraldo arranged for her family to collect her from the Whittier Police Department – after giving Shannon a nice meal.Shannon is schizophrenic and on three types of medication.
