Gadwal: The authorities of Secunderabad Rotary Club adopted the government primary school at Timmajipally village in Alampur constituency of Gadwal district on Monday and donated books, chairs and uniforms to the schoolchildren.Informing the same, schoolteacher Veeresh said that they have been fortunate enough to get immense support from the Cantonment Rotary Club of Secunderabad, which has been kind enough to provide furniture, books and uniforms to the schoolchildren. And with the support of some volunteers and the government, the schoolteacher at the primary school have decided to implement English medium and provide quality education on par with the private schools in the region. Rotary Club president Farzen Ali mentioned that Thimmajipally school is inspiring other government schools in the rural areas to take up the same path. Director of Service Committee Ahmad Ali asserted education was necessary to everyone in the rural areas. Headmaster Eswariah expressed his happiness over Rotary Club’s help. Thimmajipally Sarpanch Dasari Anjaneyulu, MPTC Padma Shanker and others participated in the programme.
