It would inspire them onto the pitch and give them dreams and aspirations to follow.“I was lucky enough to come here earlier in the season and watch a match. Over the last year or two I have got to know the club, meet the players, and I am now beginning to understand the finer points of League. It is really fast, the pace is great.“My school was union based and I played to not a great level… I’m a wannabe sports person in an untoned body!”He continued: “There is a great family feel to the game and it very much felt like a club with great local support. League in general across the country is an untapped sport I think.“Perhaps this is the year for it to change with the World Cup. There will be a lot more focus on League later in the year and maybe more people will want to play it and it will start to grow.”last_img
